As a few people in my life know, I have a weight problem. I wouldn’t go so far as to say that I’m obese, but for myself personally I am not happy with the way I look. I have accepted the way I look and have no problem in talking about it, for I feel that by talking about it openly I can move forward in attempting to do something about it.
The idea that I’m thinking about doing, I cannot take credit for. I found this idea from Wil Harris’s blog from Channel Flip and thought that it was a very interesting idea that could be helpful.
Welcome to Fatblogging!. The concept of this, from what I gather is that by incorporating my efforts into my blog I can gain support from that writing and motivate myself to work harder. In each post I will hope to give some of the vital statistics of my weight then put in some other information about how I was feeling, what I’ve done throughout the period between Fatblog posts.
Here’s hoping that it helps me in my goal. This is the first post but I’m not starting just yet

Okay, here I go again. I really cant decide on what the theme for this site should be. Whenever I see a theme that I think that I like I change my mind not that long after.
So until I can fully decide on a theme design that I like I think that I’ll leave the default WordPress theme as the default for the time being.
I hope that I’ll re-design the look and feel and it will be good and we can all go and drink cordial in celebration.

Today, after more than 5 years, I finally say goodbye to AGL. I’m finding that now that this day has finally come that it’s a bitter sweet victory for myself. I’m not really sure how to explain but I think that it might be because after 5 years I’ve become accustomed to the environment and while for the past year it hasn’t been a very stimulating place to be in, I find myself knowing that I’m going to miss it when I’m gone.
In late 2006 it was announced that all of AGL’s IT functions would be outsourced to IBM, one of the largest providers of IT services in the world. The transition would take place in the final months of 2006 with a contract signing date of 31st Jan 2007. From this date IBM would take over all of AGL’s IT functions and all AGL IT personnel would be make redundant. Well that was the plan anyway, and for most people it worked out that way, for me it was a completely different series of events.

This is going to be the first post of my blog. I have no idea what I’m going to write in this place and how good the writing is going to be. I’ve decided to write this as over the course of time I’ve always had different thoughts and points of view in my head that I thought would be nice to possibly share it amongst the good people of the net.
I am by no means a proper writer and at times I’m sure that what I say makes no sense. I don’t care though, I hope that by doing this I might become better.
So to now finish off this first initial post, welcome to my site, I welcome comments (when I enabled them of course) and I hope that this ride is enjoyable.
